Aprilia tweaked its proven 660 engine to make it more appropriate for off-road work, with more grunt available in the low- to mid-range, just the thing for picking your way through the wilderness. The Tuareg 660 engine produces 80 horsepower and 51.6 pound-feet of torque. An 81 mm bore and 63.93 mm stroke gives it an actual displacement of 659 cc with a smokin'-hot compression ratio of 13.5-to-1 that will no doubt prefer the higher-octane hooks. - TopSpeed.com
