Effortless shifting is possible with the automatic dual clutch transmission (on DCT models), and the Honda-exclusive Electric Shift (also on certain models) makes changing gears an easy one-lever deal. Models equipped with DCT and ES have smooth gear transitions because specific shift mapping is in place. DCT models also have a manual override option that allows riders to take control and manually shift when they please. The transmission reverts back to fully automatic mode after a few seconds, Honda says.
